State Farm's NowWhat.com for young adults is built on the idea of a surprising insurance-company experience. My team and I concepted this integration with AOL Instant Messenger. From the NowWhat.com site, users could choose from a variety of Disasters to send-a-friend using a blind link through AIM.
When clicked, AIM dropped an over-the-top Disaster-layer over the users screen, which disappeared after a few seconds with the NowWhat logo clickable. This was developed with AOL itself using Flash & Javascript. These concept boards are quite close to the end-result creative.
